SURGERIES
Lumbar disc herniation surgery
Surgery is done to relieve the pressure that a herniated disc (also called a displaced, ruptured or bulged disc, or prolapsed disc) puts on a spinal nerve. A herniated disc occurs when some of the softer material within the disc passes through a crack into the harder outer layers.
